Healthy Minds Compact: Strengthening - Celebrating My Strengths

Pupils return to their strengths with greater depth. Rather than simply identifying strengths, they consider which qualities come naturally, where they have seen them in action and which strengths they might choose to use more deliberately in future situations. They practise recognising and appreciating strengths in themselves and others and begin to see strengths as resources they can draw on intentionally.

Learning Outcomes

Outcome 1:

• Reflect on their strengths with increasing confidence.

Outcome 2:

• Acknowledge and appreciate strengths in themselves and others.

Outcome 3:

• Identify evidence of strengths in action.

Outcome 4:

• Identify future situations where different strengths could be useful.

Outcome 5:

• Understand that making strengths visible can help us use them more deliberately.

About the Organisation

Bounce Forward is a registered charity on a mission to transform how we think about mental health, shifting the narrative from deficit and crisis to strength, prevention, and psychological fitness. They create evidence-based programmes, curricula, and training that give young people, school staff, and the adults around children the knowledge, language, and daily habits to build genuine mental resilience. From whole-staff training to five-year school curricula, everything they do is practical, grounded in science, and designed to make a lasting difference not just in the moment, but across a lifetime.
